Meet Dr. Claudette Chaikin
Dr. Chaikin is committed to providing personalized treatment to create the best possible outcomes. She is passionate about designing beautiful, natural-looking smiles while ensuring her patients enjoy a relaxed and comfortable dental experience. Her goal is to craft smiles that reflect each patient’s unique personality—enhancing not only their teeth, but also their self-confidence.
Dr. Chaikin earned her dental degree in 1998, graduating at the top of her class from Centro Escolar University School of Dentistry. She completed continuing education in Cosmetic Dentistry from the world-renowned UCLA School of Dentistry. In 2017, she graduated with honors from the prestigious Progressive Orthodontics Seminars’ Comprehensive Training, followed by Advanced Training in Dentofacial Orthodontics the next year. Dr. Chaikin is also an Invisalign Expert.
A highly experienced clinician, Dr. Chaikin continually advances her knowledge and clinical skills through expert training in all areas of aesthetic, restorative, and implant dentistry. She was awarded Fellow of the California Implant Institute and is also a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
Outside of her practice, Dr. Chaikin enjoys quality time with her husband and their three children. She is an avid yoga practitioner, swimmer, and snow skier. Her hobbies include travel, photography, health and fitness, and beauty.

Our Associate Dentist
Dr. Gary Sigafoos
Dr. Gary Sigafoos attended Temple University in Philadelphia, PA in 1971 earning his doctorate degree a short 3 years later. He attended postgraduate training for periodontics at Temple University and graduated in 1977. He has been serving San Diego County for over 20 years.
He has given a number of lectures through out the years for different study groups, general dentists and hygienists to improve awareness and early diagnosis of periodontal disease. Dr. Sigafoos was the first periodontist in San Diego County to introduce Soft Tissue Management programs. His extensive knowledge in the field of Periodontics has led to several local and national television interviews. His efforts to bring periodontists and general dentists closer together ultimately benefits patients and the entire dental community.
Dr. Sigafoos is a member of the American Academy of Periodontics and has participated in numerous study clubs and organizations through out his years of practice. He has given many lectures and presentations on successful bone grafting, guided tissue regeneration and cosmetic gingival grafts.
Dr. Kuo
Dr. Kuo has been practicing dentistry in San Diego for more than 20 years. She graduated from National Taiwan University (NTU) school of dentistry in 1990. Then continue to train in NTU hospital in prosthodontics specialty as chief resident. Dr. Kuo has been providing quality work on a wide spectrum of dental services, with a focus on prosthodontics and endodontics: crown, bridge, partial and full dentures, TMD, root canal treatment and full mouth reconstruction.
Dr. Kuo is committed to provide quality dental services and build long term trusting relationships with patients. She has been taking care of many San Diego families for more than 15 years and grow new patients mostly by referral. She will continue to bring beautiful smiles to her patients for years to come.
